Join an exciting role where you will work with environmental compliance, substance regulations, and material data management.About the roleAs an Environmental Compliance Engineer, you will support ensuring products meet global environmental and chemical compliance requirements. A key part of the role is to reduce a backlog of legacy components with missing or incomplete supplier compliance data.You will investigate components, review material declarations, and assess chemical compliance data related to RoHS, REACH, and PFAS, including interpretation of CAS numbers.Working closely with the Environmental Compliance team, R&D, Sourcing, suppliers, and external partners, you will help maintain accurate compliance data in PLM systems and support improvements in data quality and hazardous substance phase-out activities.The assignment is carried out at the client site while you are employed by Academic Work.Work tasksReview/validate supplier material declarations to support compliance with environmental and chemical regulations, incl.
