We are building it now.We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who wants to work closely with our most strategic customers and play a key role in shaping the future of education technology. This role is based out of our Stockholm or Växjö office, with regular collaboration across teams and customers.About the roleThis is not a traditional developer role.You will act as an extension of our customers’ technical teams, working closely with municipalities and public sector organizations. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong business understanding and offers high autonomy from idea to delivery.You will operate in a flexible environment, partly outside our standard product lifecycle, enabling fast, agile deliveries with immediate impact.Key responsibilities:Take full ownership from discovery phase and requirements analysis through to delivery.Act as an extension of the customer’s technical team, participating in technical forums and meetingsWork hands-on with data extraction, cloud integrations, APIs, and modern data platformsNavigate IST’s data landscape, including shared services and product-specific databasesAct as the bridge between customers and IST’s product organizationCollaborate closely with Product Owners and internal experts to ensure fast, effective deliveryIdentify scalable patterns and contribute to strengthening IST’s EduCloud and data platformRole qualificationsWe believe you have the following competence profile to succeed in this role:…
