Your role As an IT Systems Engineer at Saab Naval, you will work with onboard IT systems for our submarine and surface vessel projects. You will be part of building and maintaining robust, secure, and high-performing IT environments in complex and distributed systems. You will collaborate closely with system engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our onboard IT systems meet operational and technical requirements.Our systems combine in-house development with commercial components, integrated into advanced and mission-critical platforms.The main tasks are:Design, develop, and verify onboard IT systems and infrastructureContribute to implementation through scripting, automation, and system configurationAnalyse and review technical solutions and system architecturesDefine and maintain system documentation (design, instructions, policies)Support integration of internally developed and externally sourced systemsContinuously improve system performance, reliability, and maintainabilityYou will work from one of our centrally located offices in Lund or Karlskrona, with occasional travel within Sweden and internationally.
