The Junior Category Buyer role involves managing assigned commodity categories to ensure compliance, quality, timely and cost-effective delivery aligned with the company budget and goals.Responsibilities and Duties:• Develop and implement the category strategy incl spend & supplier base analysis, risk & compliance assessment, and regular executive report-out for decision alignment.• Work closely with the management, business stakeholders, and the procurement team to develop and implement roadmaps to achieve assigned cost saving targets and department KPIs.• Conduct market benchmarking and analyze market trend to identify sourcing opportunities as well as cost saving opportunities.• Manage the E2E procurement operational flow including sourcing, terms and conditions negotiation, PO creation, supplier payment follow up, and contract management etc.• Develop and maintain procurement related processes to secure influence in the upstream decision making.• Manage the suppliers performance for compliance, quality, and on time delivery.• Continuous improvement initiative to implement cost-reduction and process-improvement activities.• Support the team with other assignment if required.We are looking for you who:• 3 years experience in procurement or supply chain• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or related fields• Good knowledge in the assigned category• Strong sense in both compliance and business• Proven record with contract negotiation and supplier management• High-level of analytical and presentation skills• Experience with ERP system, quick learner in digital tools.• Solution-oriented with strong determination to solve a complex problem• Strong drive for extra miles and stress resistance• Ability to deliver in an unstructured environment.• Humble team…InköpareInköpare och upphandlare
