Observit AB develops software that connects cameras and other devices to the cloud for secure management and access to video and technical data. Our systems operate in environments where reliability is critical – from devices on buses and trains to video processing and AI-powered analytics in the cloud.We are currently in a technical modernization and development phase, where Visual AI is becoming an increasingly important part of our products. At the same time, we continue to improve the systems and processing chains that make these AI solutions work reliably in production.We are therefore looking for a Junior Visual AI Developer who wants to develop Visual AI solutions together with us, while also contributing to the broader software systems around them.The role is not limited to AI development. You will work across the technical chain – from cameras, video streams and AI models to processing services, backend systems, integrations and automated testing.We believe you have· A relevant university degree, or are close to completing one, in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Engineering or a related field · Knowledge of AI, Computer Vision or Machine Learning · An understanding of image and video processing and how AI models can be used in real-world systems · Programming experience, particularly with Python and relevant Visual AI tools · A basic understanding of software and system development · An interest in working beyond the AI model itself, including backend services, processing chains, integrations and testing · A basic understanding of software testing and quality assuranceExperience from university projects, thesis work, internships, open-source projects or personal projects is relevant.
