JobbeskrivningOn behalf of our client we are now recruiting Mechanical Engineers. The Application Engineer is part of the engineering service within the RD&E organisation of the EUSA Operating Unit. The Application Engineer initiates, plans, conducts and coordinates the development-, design- and validation activities in the project.In addition to project-related work, the Application Engineer drives and supports technical productivity-, standardization- and various department activities. Main taks and responsibilities are:Manage the design, development, and validation of the product/ product standards to respect customer specifications, supplier demands and TitanX internal requirements (QCD frames)Create the necessary technical documentation for each component and module in the projects (CAD 3D-models, 2D-drawings, BOM, DVP&R.Ensure respect of existing standards andspecifications in the design work. In case those standards or specifications cannot be fulfilled, the application engineer makes sure to, in accordance with existing procedures, get an approved de-standardization request. When applicable, updates to existing standards are proposedManage and in some cases perform.Calculations/simulations (thermal performance, FEA, CFD) for optimization purpose. In cases simulations are performed on its own, before distribution of results, the engineer makes sure the results are reviews by a specialistDevelop, deliver and implement the necessary reliability tools, such as Lessons Learned, Design and Installation FMEAs, Functional Analysis, DVP&R and Design ReviewsPerform Value Analysis, DFA/DFM and Design To Cost.Initiate simulation-, test- and prototype requestsWrite DV-reports (to be approved by N+1 manager before distribution)Coordinate design changes (Engineerin…
