The Stockholm School of Economics is seeking an exceptionally detail-oriented and service-minded Project Manager to lead and develop SSE’s academic ceremonies and official visits. In this role, you will help shape some of SSE's most important traditions and represent SSE at key moments for students, faculty, alumni, donors, and distinguished guests. You will collaborate closely with students, faculty, the President's Office, Communications, and external partners. Your stakeholders will include distinguished academics, Nobel laureates, leaders from various business communities, the diplomatic corps, donors and benefactors and international visitors and guests. About the role In this role, you will: Serve as SSE's institutional expert and owner of academic ceremonies, traditions, and protocol, ensuring that the school’s ceremonial practices are maintained, developed, and delivered in a manner that reflects its values, heritage, and international standing. Plan and execute SSE's annual academic ceremonies, including Bachelor's, Master's, MBA Graduation ceremonies as well as the Installation & Conferment ceremony. Manage official visits, selected conferences and other stakeholder events. Develop and continuously improve processes, routines, and documentation related to ceremonies and official visits. Collaborate with the Communications team to strengthen awareness of the role and value of academic ceremonies and institutional traditions.
