The Role This position plays an integral role in linking the development activities of Engineering with the Purchasing organization, making sure the sourcing plan is optimized to and well planned, for new projects to ensure the Sourcing process and supplier activities are executed in line with project requirements. The role ensures that prototype, production parts, and tools are ordered in time to meet the build trials. The Role includes working closely with Suppliers, Engineering, Program managers, Quality, and Strategic purchasers to ensure project deliverables. Duties & Responsibilities The Project Purchaser will be part of the Category team and responsible for securing material, cost compression, and supplier selection for approved suppliers during the development phase of the car program. The purpose is to have a short to midterm view on supplier selection as well secure the current and future supply to support Koenigsegg’ development phase.
