Role PurposeThe Quality Control Engineer is responsible for supporting the QC lead with QC deliverables, test packs, walkdown planning, snag tracking, and reporting.Roles & ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture• Lead by example in the areas of ethics, EHS, cultural sensitivity, diversity, teamwork, quality culture and behaviors.• Understand our values, Quality policy and create a culture of "being proud of the projects we deliver" & "Right first time" amongst the team• Establish close working relationships with cross functional departments (Planning, Engineering, Operations, Commissioning, EHS, etc.) including supply chain and client stakeholders.• Establish reward and recognition initiatives that celebrate quality achievements and project successes.• Encourage engagement in Lessons Learned program on the project to drive improvements.EHS Compliance• Comply with all Project EHS requirements i.e. PPE, work Permits, procedures, etc. Where required, support the development of project specific method statements.Quality Planning & Governance• Establish close working relationships with cross functional departments (Planning, Engineering, Operations, Commissioning, EHS, etc.) including supply chain and client stakeholders.• Develop, maintain, and monitor Inspection and Test Plans and checklists approvals in line with submittal due dates.• Complete root cause analyses and monitor corrective actions to ensure effective close-out and prevention of recurrence.Welding, Traceability & Fabrication Control• Monitor and maintain weld traceability records, weld logs, welder qualifications, weld heat maps, visual inspection records and NDT compliance requirements.Test Packs, Systems & Commissioning Readiness• Develop and agree Test Pack List and Contents with relev…
