You will translate product requirements and performance criteria into robust engineering solutions, CAD models, and technical specifications.This role focuses on the engineering and design of automotive interior trim components, ensuring that products are manufacturable, cost-effective, compliant with regulations, and delivered according to project timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of interior trim systems, including:Floor systemsLuggage compartment systemsOverhead systemsCarpetsAbsorbentsInsulationsLoad floorsHeadlinersAssociated plastic componentsDevelop engineering concepts and convert them into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5.Create and maintain CAD data, master sections, and engineering documentation.Ensure tooling feasibility and manufacturing requirements are incorporated into the design process.Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure product feasibility and successful industrialization.Support material selection activities considering durability, performance, aesthetics, sustainability, and cost.Optimize designs for packaging, weight, cost, quality, and performance targets.Support physical and virtual validation activities.Ensure compliance with customer requirement…
