Job Summary This position reports to the Project Leader or Installation manager as immediate manager and in day-to-day work to the Arbetsledare/Supervisor. On-site or in-house servicing, repair and/or installation of company product(s). This job will include field support and installation of data cables, installation of cabinets, sensors, cameras, variable message signs, switches and other monitoring equipment installations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Follow supervisor’s directions for all tasks· Read and understand project documents such as plans and specifications· Support in overall installation and maintenance activities in the field of technical systems for metro, tunnel and road projects.· Installs equipment including but not limited to cameras, detectors, cabinets, switches, radio etc. · Installs pull boxes and conduit.· Installation of different types of cables, including pulling cable and installation of cable in conduits· Connect and terminates comms cables (UTP RJ45 for CAT5 and CAT6, coax) to equipment.· Overall support to testing team to verify devices’ functionality.· Execution of periodic maintenance activities for installed systems.· Prepares logs to keep track of field conditions and installation activities, daily journal (dagbok).· Assists Arbetsledare/Supervisor in various aspects related to installation works. · Other duties may be assigned.· Perform duties at multiple construction sites, simultaneously.
