Wellspect is seeking a Vice President, Research & Development to lead its global R&D function and drive innovation across a regulated medtech portfolio.The role is responsible for defining and executing R&D strategy, leading product development from concept through commercialization, and ensuring compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards. The position operates at a global level and includes leadership of cross-functional teams and complex development programs. Key responsibilities:Lead global R&D and innovation activitiesManage development of medical device products across the full lifecycleEnsure compliance with regulatory and quality requirementsDrive efficient and predictable development processesLead and develop a global R&D organizationRequirements:Advanced degree/-s in engineering or related field/-sExtensive (25+ years) experience in R&D / product development within medtech or regulated industryStrong proven experience in development and launch of complex medical device productsStrong and solid experience in quality systems, regulatory frameworks, and post-market activitiesDemonstrated leadership of large, global and cross-functional organizationsThis position requires a highly experienced R&D leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to deliver complex innovation programs and operate at scale in a global organization.
